How many entries per artist are allowed?

Artists can enter up to three works in this 2017 prize. 

Is there a size limit?

The size of the work must not exceed two (2) meters in any dimension.

Is there an age limit?

No there is no age limit.


How many finalists will there be?

16 Finalists will be selected.

How are the finalists chosen?

Finalists will be chosen by a specially-selected judging panel. This judging will take place from 30 October 2017. Finalists will be announced on 1 November 2017 and those selected works will be exhibited at Jugglers Art Space during November and December 2017.

What happens if I am selected as a finalist?

Selected works are to be delivered to Myself Prize, Jugglers Art Space 103 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Qld, 4006 by Friday 17th November 2017.  Myself Prize will provide appropriate delivery times. Selected works must be professionally presented and ready for display/hanging. Selected works are to be forwarded with the name of the artist, return address, contact information, title, date and medium attached to the work, and securely packaged to ensure safe transportation to Myself Prize. The packaging must be suitable for Myself Prize to re-use for the return of the selected artwork.

How are the finalists judged?

Myself Prize will invite a panel of judges (still to be announced) to decide the winning entry for 2017.

How will the winner be announced?

The winner will be announced at the opening night event at Jugglers Art Space on 24 November 2017. 


There is a main prize of $4,000.00, are there any other prizes?

Yes there will be a first runner-up prize supplied by our sponsor Wine Experience. The prize will be a a case of Myself Prize wine.  

Finalist exhibition

What date will the finalist exhibition be?

The Finalist exhibition will be held from Friday 24th November 2017 (opening night) - Tuesday 5th December 2017.

Where will the finalist exhibition be?

The finalist exhibition will be held at Jugglers Art Space in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane QLD 4006. Watch the video below to have a sneak peek at the space in 360°. This video is best viewed in your YouTube app and Chrome or Firefox browsers.
